Owner of Copy Collective, and Australian Businesswomen’s Network member, Dominique Antarakis, knows the value of a cluey wordsmith. In fact, it’s what she has formed her business around. Dominique is the subject of feature in Neos Kosmos, published 13 January, titled Making words from nothing. The online publication says Dominique has successfully made a living out of turning ‘lifeless, boring text… into marketable, snappy prose for anyone who needs it’. Growing from strength to strength since the company’s inception in 2008, Dominique told Neos Kosmos about the journey behind her business, claiming it was not an overnight success. And since the birth of her business also co-insided with the birth of her child, Dominique was looking for a new way to approach a work/life balance.
“I was very lucky to have a fairly calm baby, that I used to take to my clients offices,” Dominique Antarakis told Neos Kosmos.
But when her client base grew too large, Dominique needed to expand. It resulted in five permanent staff members, a Sydney and New Zealand branch and a contributor base of more than 60 people around the country. Read more of the Neos Kosmos article, here. Learn more about Dominique Antarakis, here.
