The Australian Businesswomen’s Network (ABN) is delighted to announce the appointment of Sheena Polese to its Advisory Board in the capacity of Partnerships and Community Growth.
With a wealth of experience as communicator and marketer, Sheena will be responsible for championing the ABN’s national and international alliances program, expanding its associations and partnerships programs and community growth.
“I am delighted to welcome Sheena to the ABN board”, said ABN Chair and Community Director, Suzi Dafnis.
“Sheena brings a wealth of experience to our talented team. I look forward to the opportunities that will be extended to Australian businesswomen through our partnerships and community programs.”
Ms Polese said:
“Having worked in the corporate world for over 25 years I felt I had an opportunity to share my experience and knowledge with a social enterprise. On seeing the advertised opportunity for an Advisory Board position with the Australian Businesswomen’s Network I thought I could be a suitable fit.
I have always been a supporter of women in the workforce, both in the corporate and private sectors. Women have so many skills, qualities and talents to bring to business. Often they only need a little coaching and support to enable them to fully exploit their own capabilities and realise their full potential.
The ABN is a great network and service for women in business. It leverages the latest thinking and technologies to deliver information and education to women in business. I am pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to their next stage of growth.”
