The Australian Businesswomen’s Network (ABN) takes pleasure in announcing the appointment of government relations expert Victoria Taylor to its Advisory Board.
With a wealth of experience as a political adviser, industry lobbyist and stakeholder engagement specialist, Ms Taylor will be responsible for championing the ABN’s public policy agenda with government agencies, industry bodies and members, and for developing and implementing the ABN’s Advocacy Plan.
“I am delighted to welcome Victoria to the ABN board”, said ABN Chair and Community Director, Suzi Dafnis.
“Victoria will brings a wealth of knowledge and sector experience to the team and I look forward to working closely with her to amplify women’s voices and represent the issues of Australian businesswomen to government.”
Ms Taylor said:
“I am thrilled to join the Australian Businesswomen’s Network Advisory Board. I came across the ABN about four years ago when I was starting my own business. I knew I had a lot of knowledge in my field, but wasn’t confident I had the skills to actually run a business. I subscribed to the newsletter, devoured all the articles and signed up to every webinar I felt would increase my chances of success. Now my business is thriving, but I still rely on the ABN to provide me with tailored, relevant and up-to-date information to give me the edge in business (and in life!).
“When I saw the opportunity to join the advisory board, I jumped at the chance to make a contribution and give back to the organisation that continues to inspire and support me, and all women in business.”
