About Me - My Biography
Wife, mumma to furbabies, physio, dog treat baker, dog lover.
I completed my physio degree in 2008, starting my own physio business in 2014. I’m a mobile physio who visits the elderly in their home to help manage their pain and help reduce their falls risk. I love my job but I struggle physically, already having degenerative changes in my own back.
In 2016, after getting our puppy Kiba, I really wanted to ensure my boy received the best care, and that included his treats. I’d always loved baking human food so baking treats for him was a natural thing to do. My sister had had her dog for four years prior to me getting Kiba and she always gave her dog Cooper the healthiest treats for his super sensitive tummy so we decided to start a business selling our homemade dog treats to help give other dog owners healthier treat options for their dogs, and so The Doggie Bakery was born.
I’m currently at breaking point with my physio work. Now is the time for me to invest all I can, financially, physically and mentally into The Doggie Bakery to see if it can ever be an option to allow me to leave physio full time.
Educating pet owners to read ingredient labels on commercially made pet food, what the ingredients are and how they impact on the pets health, thereby helping them make better decisions for the sake of their pets health.
Spending time with my husband and our two fur babies, huskies Kiba and Freja.
How I Can Help Other Members
I could provide assistance members in the pet or physio industries by the sharing from the experience I’ve had, and just be an overall cheerleader for other business women.
