Once people know what to expect and what their brand actually looks like, the likelihood of them attracting the right target markets increases significantly.
What business owners need to understand is that they need to be a part of the voice that they’re actually putting out. If they leave that to someone else, it won’t be them, it won’t be their work, and that human connection is lost.
The fact is, social media and websites and everything online is so big, that if you just build it, they don’t just come. You need to talk to them, you need to connect to them, and understand that you’re connecting on a very personal level.
The best advice I can give to any business owner is, you need to look at what you can do, rather than “Oh my goodness, it’s so much. I can’t look. I can’t see it. I don’t want to know about it!” Just drill it down and go, “OK, what is feasible for me to actually action right now?”
Finding your target market is the best thing that you can do.
