About the host

Suzi Dafnis

Hi there. I’m Suzi Dafnis, CEO at HerBusiness. My BIG passion is helping women business owners to grow and scale their business, so that they can create their ideal lifestyle and make a difference in the world. Every day I am inspired by the more than 30,000 amazing women (and men!) in our community and I love finding the best education, mentors, and resources from around the globe, to help them get the skills, knowledge, and support they need to succeed. It’s been my privilege to lead HerBusiness (formerly The Australian Businesswomen’s Network) for the past 23 years (two+ decades – WOW!) because, whilst I’ve enjoyed success in business, I’ve also experienced the highs and the lows – sometimes you can feel on top of the world and in control and other times you can feel isolated, exhausted and stuck. What has made the biggest difference for me has always been having great people around me and having a lifelong commitment to learning. That’s why I am so passionate about the work we do here at HerBusiness – providing a Connection Network for women in business to get the mentors, contacts, referrals, knowledge, and skills they need to grow their confidence, make more money, build their businesses, expand their network and create the lives they love. My entrepreneurial journey started in the spare room of my Sydney apartment in 1994 when my business partner and I started a boutique events company that represented speakers and authors from the USA, here in Australia. Over the years I’ve grown multiple multi-million dollar businesses in the events, publishing and education niches – with teams in Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. Not everything has worked and there has been a degree of trial and error, and a lot of bumps in the road. But I have always had a strong commitment to always surrounding myself with great mentors and like-minded peers – a Connection Network that I can depend on and who can depend on me to be there for them too. I truly do what I love, every day.

Jai Harvey-Yin

Jai Harvey-Yin

Hello there, my name is Jai (pronounced J) and a few years ago my life took a major turn, as a result, I lost my own sense of identity. On the outside, I may have appeared confident, successful, and accomplished – on the inside things were quite different. As I came to get to know this new version of myself, I realised I was not alone, and there are many women who need love, support, and the tools needed to lift themselves back up to embrace their best sensational selves, settle into their own gorgeousness with the quiet assurance that they ROCK!  Their own Fabulosity.  This is my mission. Being forced from the successful career in the beauty industry, and a multiple seven figure business, I had to start again – and this journey has been one that has been interesting, emotional but gloriously wonderous as I have created, faltered, created again – the endless evolution of finding what is next for me and more importantly, for those I help.       Currently I have three main strings to my bow: Change Your Therapist (my day business) With my business partner, Daniel, we are NDIS providers offering services to people with a disability who want to improve their social and communication skills.  We do this through our day programs, online programs – including bingo, discos, excursions and more.   We provide a caring supportive and mostly fun environment for our participants to learn, grow and thrive. ReikLoveJai (my spiritual business) At a time when my life took a huge pivot, I was forced to outsource ways of managing stress, anxiety, overload and a feeling of limbo.  I discovered Reiki.   It truly helped me reconnect with myself as well as managing the symptoms of the unusual turmoil in my life.  I will be forever grateful for this. Now I want to share this with others.   With you. Reiki is the Japanese word for Universal Life Energy; and Reiki practitioners use this energy to help your body help itself to heal through deep relaxation, chakra balancing and stress relief. As a reiki practitioner I hope to combine my philosophy of love, kindness and positivity to help stressed, tired and disconnected people to reconnect to themselves by providing deeply relaxing, healing & rebalancing Reiki Rituals, through my in studio sessions, women’s circles & meditations – both online and in my beautiful studio sanctuary. Fabulosity (my coaching, course & membership biz) Fabulosity began as an online membership, a course called Journey to Fabulosity, a signature move called the Fabulosity Flip and continues to evolve into one-to-one coaching.   Currently closed to new members, you can join and get to know my vibe in my free facebook community : https://www.facebook.com/groups/gratitude.attitude.joyous.abundance.with.jai Anyway, don't be shy, this multi-passionate entrepreneur loves to make new connections, and most importantly see others thrive.  Girl power all the way!
