Valerie Khoo is the National Director of the Australian Writers’ Centre.
The centre was established in 2005 and has grown from a one-person operation to a thriving centre featuring over 40 of Australia”s top writing trainers, journalists and authors.The Australian Writers’ Centre is now a leading national centre for writing courses, and students from all over the world enrolling in its online programs. Over 15,000 students have enrolled in its courses.
She worked for Fairfax for the 12 years and is an award winning feature writer. She is editor of Latte, Australia’s leading magazine for businesswomen. She has worked for three big publishing companies including EMAP, ACP Magazine and Pacific Magazines. Valerie is also author of six books. The most recent is Power Stories: The 8 Stories You MUST Tell to Build an Epic Business.
