About Me - My Biography

Meet Peter Johnston, or PJ for short. He’s a successful entrepreneur, investor, and mentor with a wealth of experience under his belt.

In 1994, PJ co-founded Pow Wow Events, an Australian company that represented local and international speakers and authors in three countries. Through Pow Wow and its sister organisation in the US, they staged educational events for audiences of up to 6,500 people in cities across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. At its peak, the Pow Wow group was turning over $25+ million a year and had a team of over 45 employees. The company was eventually sold in 2007.

In addition to Pow Wow, PJ has also headed up a publishing firm that has published 11 bestsellers and sold over 1.5 million business books in the Australian and New Zealand markets. One of their best selling books was Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

For the last 12 years, PJ has been mentoring small business owners both formally and informally. He’s passionate about small business and the power it has to give people the life they desire. In his words, “business should serve you, and if it’s not working that way, it’s time to make a change.”

These days, PJ is focused on Persephone Investments, a small investment and property management company that holds and manages a commercial property portfolio. PJ has industry experience in:
