Hello. My name is Erica Webb. Using the modalities of Yoga, Pilates and Somatic Exercise, I help busy women who want to prioritise their self-care shift from tense and disconnected to feeling flexible, strong and reconnected with their body. I offer an online class and coaching membership, online and in-person workshops as well as one-on-one coaching and retreats. 

About Me - My Biography

Hello. My name is Erica Webb. Using the modalities of Yoga, Pilates and Somatic Exercise, I help busy women who want to prioritise their self-care shift from tense and disconnected to feeling flexible, strong and reconnected with their body. I offer an online class and coaching membership, online and in-person workshops as well as one-on-one coaching and retreats.

My approach to movement centres on compassionate curiosity and kindness and gently looking for ways to move and explore beyond our habits. I believe that moving well can help us to feel well, and exploring the ways we respond to movement can lead us on a journey of understanding ourselves more clearly.

I’m keen on kindness, deeply curious and driven to bring more joy, wonder and comfort to peoples’ lives.

My Expertise

I’ve been teaching Mindful Movement since 2011. Over that time, I have developed a particular expertise in helping women identify movement habits that keep them recreating patterns of tension. I gained additional qualifications as a Somatic Exercise Coach and Mat Pilates Instructor to provide a deeper, well-rounded insight into mindful movement to my clients. This trio has proven to pack a punch (of the best kind) – helping women to develop strength and flexibility while also reducing tension and shifting beyond habits.

 

I also hold a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and a Masters of Writing, and I infuse my passion for writing and exploring human behaviour into my work.

My Passions

I am passionate about helping women to feel more comfortable in their own skin and guide them to fill their ‘movement toolbox’ with skills, tools and techniques that allow them to move beyond tension.

I’m passionate about curiosity, kindness and compassion.

I’m passionate about being the best version of me I can today.

As a mother to two young boys and one fur-kid, I’m also passionate about raising amazing humans (and dogs).

As an artist (my other ‘hat’), I’m passionate about infusing the world with more joy and wonder.

My Interests

The human body, the human mind, movement,  words, books, pictures, stories, finding space and holding space.

I can tailor a mindful movement program to your specific needs, or perhaps you’ll find my Mindful Movement Virtual Studio membership right up your alley (so you can practice anywhere, any time).

I consult both in-person in Melbourne’s outer east and online, so you can be anywhere at all.
