Deborah Harrigan serves as General Manager for Dell’s Consumer, Small and Medium Business Divisions across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, she is responsible for leading a team of sales, marketing and support personnel focused on delivering the products, services and comprehensive solutions that help businesses everywhere grow and thrive.

Joining Dell in 1999, Harrigan has held a number of roles including Inside Sales Director and Operations Director for Australia and New Zealand, in addition to roles abroad such as Sales and General Management in Malaysia and Country Manager for New Zealand.

Harrigan has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, including senior management positions prior to Dell with Toshiba, Optus Vision and Lucent Technologies. During her time at Toshiba, Harrigan was the Public Sector Manager and National Sales Manager where she won Telstra Account Manager of the Year. Her experience at Optus Vision saw her establish a Pay TV sales force where the business grew from 60 to 3500 people in under two years.

Harrigan’s early career began in the public system and health sector where she was a programmer, trainer and operator of the Royal North Shore Hospital patient administration and billing system. Following a role in the NSW Department of Health managing major rollouts for all state hospitals, she leapt into the private sector to sell IBM solutions and services to public health providers.

Harrigan is motivated by her young son and enthusiastic to share her cultural experiences, understanding and learning from living abroad. She is also passionate about encouraging others to take risks with self belief and achieve what they may consider the impossible.
