Strategies for Success
- Have a clear vision of what you want.(What’s your purpose? What result do you want?)
- Go public! Let people know what your ambitions and goals are. This will result in people asking how you are going, (a great motivator to ensure that you are doing something) as well as offers of help
- Get a coach/mentor. Find someone who is doing it well and enrol their support – or find a buddy who has a similar goal and support each other.
- Celebrate your progress. Identify milestones along the way and as you reach them – celebrate! Not only will this make it more fun, but you will feel that you are getting somewhere.
- In the words of Winston Churchill: “Never Give Up”. Persist, Persist, Persist.
