About Me - My Biography

Andrew Griffiths is an entrepreneur with a real passion for small business. From humble beginnings as an orphan growing up in Western Australia, Andrew has owned and operated a number of very successful small businesses, starting his first enterprise at age seven, a newspaper round in the seedy red light area of Perth.

Since then he has sold encyclopaedias door to door, travelled the world as an international sales manager for a large Japanese shipping company, worked in the Great Sandy Desert for a gold exploration company, had his own SCUBA school and retail shop and worked as a commercial diver throughout Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Clearly Andrew has had a colourful background that has made him the man he is today. Inspired by a constant desire to see others reach their full potential, Andrew has written ten hugely successful books (eight are bestsellers), with many more on the way.

His “101 Ways” business building series offers small business owners practical, smart and realistic advice. The series is now sold in over 50 countries, in places as far afield as Estonia, Nigeria, China, North America, India, the United Kingdom and even Iceland, its easy to see that Andrew’s concepts cross both cultural and geographical boundaries.

To combat the global financial crisis, Andrew wrote the book “Bulletproof Your Business NOW.” This book has been designed to help business owners to overcome the challenges faced in tough economic times and ideally making their business bulletproof so that it won’t be vulnerable in the future.

Andrew’s first personal growth book, the ME MYTH, was published in Australia by international publisher, Simon & Schuster. The ME MYTH has been featured on Sunrise, Good Morning NZ, Triple M radio and many more national and international media. It has won acclaim as one of the most inspirational self improvement books ever written by an Australian author.

Known for his ability to entertain, to inspire and to energise, Andrew has become a highly sought after keynote speaker. His clients are a who’s who of the corporate world and he has sold almost fifty thousand books to companies who use them as either motivational tools for staff or corporate gifts for clients.

Andrew is also a passionate campaigner for numerous not for profit organisations. He is an ambassador for Act for Kids, an organisation charged with eliminating Child Abuse once and for all. Andrew is also actively involved with the Salvation Army, Harald’s House for homeless kids and many more. In other words he puts his time and his money where his mouth is.

There is no doubt that Andrew Griffiths has become a major force in the world of small business, within Australia and around the world.
