– Get Brave – How to Be More Courageous and Beat Fear and Perfectionism
Whether it is the fear of rejection, imperfection or self-doubt, many of us find ways to convince ourselves we are not ready to strive for our goals. We persuade ourselves to spend far too much time in preparation and not enough taking action. Although putting ourselves on the line can make us vulnerable, it is the only way to pursue the goals that excite us.
In this episode of herBusiness, your host Suzi Dafnis is in conversation with author Margie Warrell about her book Brave. Margie talks to our listeners about the ability of fear to paralyse us and stop us from making the decisions we want. She discusses the need to embrace vulnerability and to take the risks we are afraid to.
She also mentions the idea of ‘done is better than perfect’ and how women should not let the fear of imperfection stop them from having a go.
