The Growth Shift

The Decisions That Change Everything

There’s probably a decision sitting in your business right now that you already know needs to be made.

You may have been thinking about it for weeks. Maybe months.

Every now and then it pops back up, asking for your attention again.

And while you’re not actively working on it, it’s still taking up space — in your thinking, your planning, and your ability to move forward.

What’s interesting is that these decisions are rarely about a lack of information.

Most of us already know enough to make the decision.

The challenge is that many of the decisions that move a business forward also ask something of us.

They ask us to become more visible.

To let go of control.

To charge what we’re worth.

To simplify.

To trust ourselves.

To step into a bigger version of who we are as leaders.

Whether it’s raising your prices, hiring support, changing direction, streamlining your offers, or finally saying yes to the next stage of growth, the decisions we delay are rarely just strategic.

They’re personal.

In this month’s Growth Shift, we’ll explore the hidden cost of delayed decisions, why overthinking can quietly drain momentum, and how to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

This isn’t about making reckless decisions or dramatic changes overnight.

It’s about recognising the decisions your future self is already waiting for you to make.

You’ll have the opportunity to step back and actively work ON your business during the session — not just listen to ideas.

Through guided reflection, discussion, and practical exercises, you’ll identify where indecision may be slowing your progress and what it would look like to move forward with greater conviction and momentum.

The Shifts We’ll Explore In This Session:

  • Greater clarity about the decisions you may already know need to be made
  • Insight into why smart women often delay decisions, even when they already know the answer
  • A practical framework for making stronger decisions with more confidence and less second-guessing
  • Perspective on the emotional and identity shifts that often sit underneath indecision
  • A clearer understanding of what delayed decisions may really be costing you
  • Fresh momentum and practical next steps you can implement immediately
  • More trust in yourself, your instincts, and your ability to move forward

Plus, you’ll receive a practical resource to help you reflect on the decisions that matter most right now — and take ACTION with clarity and confidence.

Hi there. I’m Suzi Dafnis, CEO at HerBusiness. My BIG passion is helping women business owners to grow and scale their business, so that they can create their ideal lifestyle and make a difference in the world. Every day I am inspired by the more than 30,000 amazing women (and men!) in our community and I love finding the best education, mentors, and resources from around the globe, to help them get the skills, knowledge, and support they need to succeed. It’s been my privilege to lead HerBusiness (formerly The Australian Businesswomen’s Network) for the past 23 years (two+ decades – WOW!) because, whilst I’ve enjoyed success in business, I’ve also experienced the highs and the lows – sometimes you can feel on top of the world and in control and other times you can feel isolated, exhausted and stuck. What has made the biggest difference for me has always been having great people around me and having a lifelong commitment to learning. That’s why I am so passionate about the work we do here at HerBusiness – providing a Connection Network for women in business to get the mentors, contacts, referrals, knowledge, and skills they need to grow their confidence, make more money, build their businesses, expand their network and create the lives they love. My entrepreneurial journey started in the spare room of my Sydney apartment in 1994 when my business partner and I started a boutique events company that represented speakers and authors from the USA, here in Australia. Over the years I’ve grown multiple multi-million dollar businesses in the events, publishing and education niches – with teams in Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. Not everything has worked and there has been a degree of trial and error, and a lot of bumps in the road. But I have always had a strong commitment to always surrounding myself with great mentors and like-minded peers – a Connection Network that I can depend on and who can depend on me to be there for them too. I truly do what I love, every day.
