Ending the Relationship with a Mentoree

After the final session in the mentoring package in completed, mentoring partners usually decide to do one of the following:

• Continue the relationship by adding additional mentoring sessions (unlimited)
• 80% of mentorees continue mentoring – book in next session as per usual
• Say thank you and goodbye

Final Review and Evaluation
When mentoring session is complete submit feedback/review form.

In conclusion, the final session offers the opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved through the program from both the mentors and mentorees perspective, what has been learnt about ones-self and ones business, and the new skills and knowledge gained. It is useful to reflect upon the initial motivation to participate and the program goal set at the outset. Acknowledge and celebrate goals and objectives achieved and explore the mentoree’s future business and professional goals.
