About Me - My Biography

I am an Accredited Specialist in Property Law, with over 20 years of experience advising Australian and international developers, corporations, property trusts and financiers on the full breadth of property transactions – including acquisitions, disposals, structuring issues, lease transactions, owners corporation advice and development advice in relation to retail, commercial, industrial and residential property.

One of my niches is in drafting and negotiating agreements for leases (and sub leases and licences), for a variety of permitted uses both from the landlord and from the tenant perspective – including airport subleases, port terminal leases, shopping centre leases, sub leases in train stations, in medical centres, and hangar licences on behalf of  tenants.

My other work nirvana is development work. I take a wholistic approach to every development project I work on. It is a privilege to work with clients to create beautiful and productive spaces in our communities. 

I also assist clients with their sales and acquisitions. I  work closely with  clients who are selling to gather the information and present them in a commercial manner for sale. If clients are buying, I will  work  with other consultants (environmental and specialist planning consultants) to provide my clients with a concise due diligence report, helping relieve some of the stress out of any transaction.

With experience both in-house and in strong property teams in mid- tier firms, I bring strong commercial acumen and result- oriented thinking to the table for my clients.
