My Expertise

I am happy to say i have lots of expertise in my industry (beauty) 26 years worth infact. i have been an employee, contracted services to salons and for many years run my own salon. My beauty therapy has opened many doors and opportunities with business together combined with my Cert 4 in Training and Assessment i have been lucky in business, with a supportive loyal clientele.

But… i continually get bored, and i have come to the conclusion  i am not doing mostly what i love doing, this is my Cosmetic Tattooing.

Let me paint you a picture. A 64 year old woman walks in my salon, insecure, closed body language, the scarfe or cardigan that she hides behind, still apprehensive about endeavouring into the unknown “world of tattooing” (even i dislike that word tattooing). However, she is strong, she is trusting, she is kind, she has a story, but this moment,  this is about her…… We finish the procedure, her eyes light up, the smile takes over her face and disposition, her body language loud and proud, confidence comes over her like a wave. What i have just given that beautiful woman back, all the money in the world couldn’t buy. I too get a hit of ‘high’ (both performing the treatment and being in the company of this new woman when we finish).

So WOM must be huge for me you say, well no, because these woman (mostly) dont share their beauty secrets, they dont want their friends to know they have had to reach out to feel and look better (and younger). On the odd occasion someone does tell a friend about this transformation process, she is nervous about pain, the outcome, what her husband and friends will say and she on average needs 4 years to think about it. (really!!!)

But… like i said they are thrilled at the time. So my expertise is the Cosmetic Tattooing, its also my passion, i just need to get many more women through the doors.

I am passionate about encouraging my children in  particular to pursue their dreams and encourage to live and think harder about things and to never judge an older person by the way they look……That older person is just filled with wisdom:), instead respect and listen to them.

My life as it is now, healthly happy family, learning learning for personal growth and growth of my business, walking, renovating my 60 year old home, entertaining with friends:)

Other Her Business members are also obviously busy, working woman, who aspire to have ease and and control in their life. Cosmetic Tattooing takes out the guesswork, the hit and miss, the good and bad of makeup daily. Your Eyeliner, Eyebrows and Lipliner remain perfect, all day, everyday whilst remaining natural.

Why I Became a HerBusiness Member

Your podcasts are talking my talk and walking my walk lol. Keep feeding me all you have, i am concerned about my mentor and me not clicking with them how i have adapted to your way. ( i realise this would be a common misconception).

A massive downfall for me  in business is my lack of interest in networking, so this is a positive step in the right direction.

I need and want my business to boom, personally and financially.
