About Me - My Biography

I have worked as an Accountant for over 13 years in various roles and industries, completing my CPA and my BAS registration status along the way.

Through the years and different roles and businesses I have worked in I have discovered that my passion is working with small businesses and the close knit teams that are dedicated to making them work, and using my expertise to help them run like well oiled machines that can grow and shine! So when my most recent role as Finance Manager for a Multi National Listed IT Software Distributor was moved to Sydney I decided it was time for me to stop stressing myself out working in large companies that don’t always appreciate individuality and take control of my future and follow my passion.

I am now doing this by taking my side hustle for the last 6 years a small Bookkeeping business, full time and seeing where it takes me.

My Expertise

Fully qualified CPA with over 13 years experience in various roles and industries, I am also a registered BAS Agent, a Xero certified Adviser and a QBO Certified Adviser as well as having more then 10 years experience with MYOB.

My Passions

Working together with great teams to help small businesses grow and prosper so that everybody wins.

My Interests

I enjoy a good night out dancing with the girls, going to the movies, spending time with friends and family, puzzles and curling up on the couch with a book.

How I Can Help Other Members

I am ready, willing and able to help in any way I can. Whether it be a simple accounts health check, a full on accounts rescue mission, an ongoing collaboration/connection (business or friendship – can never have too many friends!) or just a friendly ear to bend so you can talk something through out loud to a supportive voice of reason allowing you to make some decisions your not sure about, I’m your girl!

Why I Became a HerBusiness Member

I became a HerBusiness Member because I am just starting out on my own and I really want to learn as much as I can about everything in relation to making my business and those of my clients grow and succeed. I saw this forum as one where i could grow my network and knowledge base both professionally and personally by being a part of a supportive community that can help me but also allow me to help others.
