Frustrated with living someone else’s dreams and ambitions, Nicky returned home from a parliament sitting in Canberra and broke news to hubby that she wanted to live her own dream….in business.

She swapped her adviser suits for farm clothes and while helping hubby muster sheep and sow the wheat crop, Nicky reflected on what it was that she really wanted to do.

While enjoying life as a farmer, Nicky grabbed any opportunity to dress up, wear lippy and swap her boots for heels. What she realised was, when she looked good, she felt good. And confident.

She realised image consulting was the path she’d take, determined to help others feel confident and fulfil their potential.

Nicky is particularly interested in the communication/body language aspect to image management, and helping her clients to communicate effectively in the way they present themselves overall.

With her political background, she sees a need to help politicians, and staff, improve their communication skills to better connect with constituents. She created Pollie & The Swinger as a platform for frustrated regional voters to have their say and provide communication tips for pollies and advisers.

Nicky also founded the`I Am Fabulous’ program to help people experiencing hardship and the unemployed in the Border region of the NSW Riverina, with the intention of launching it later this year.

As well, she’s an Ambassador of the Body Image Movement helping to spread the positive body image message and is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International.

Services include a detailed colour analysis and style analysis, wardrobe edit, personal shopping, travel packing and plans to soon introduce a communications program.

Nicky is a fully trained Image Consultant and Stylist, with qualifications certified by the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI).

Background in journalism and in government and politics, as a media, policy and political adviser.

My Passions

Helping people to become more confident in the way they present themselves and communicate, and fulfil their potential.

Looking good is not an exercise in vanity. It results in one feeling good and more confident within themselves, to seize opportunities, and move out of their comfort zone to pursue goals and aspirations.

I discuss with clients their goals and how they would also like to be perceived in their work, to help gain more recognition, get that promotion, and if necessary, more respect in a male-dominated workforce.

The same approach is taken for their personal life, if requested.
