About Me - My Biography

Maria has over 30 years’ experience in property marketing and communications throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America. She has worked in senior management positions for a number of Australian companies including the Armstrong’s/Neville Jeffress Group (Melbourne and Sydney), Bozell Advertising (New York), Bond Miles Coulter Advertising (Melbourne) and Jones Lang LaSalle (previously known as Jones Lang Wootton).

In January 2001, Eye Connect commenced operations and Maria has been operating as a freelance executive, undertaking assignments for a number of companies across various market sectors including property, legal, financial, medical, insurance, technology, telecommunications, government and private companies.

Maria is as current Board member of Adele House, a drug and alcohol centre and is involved in Rotary International. She was previously a board member of the Property Industry Foundation Ball Committee, a charity that raises money for Kids at Risk.

In 2015, Maria as recognised by the Urban Development Institute of Australia for Excellence in Marketing in the property sector.

Why I Became a HerBusiness Member

Two of the biggest parts of who I am come from past experiences and sources of inspiration, what I find inspirational are entrepreneurial women. I think entrepreneurs are amazing. Across the world, these people are creating new jobs, fostering economic growth and acting as role models for others in their businesses and communities. Being on the board of HerBusiness motivates me to connect and cultivate partnerships between entrepreneurial women and like minded businesses.
