Jennifer Lancaster started her business as a freelance copywriter and book author.

She found it hard in 2008 – 2015 to get the word out about her own books; books that teach ordinary Australians how to manage their money or start a freelance business.  Then she discovered blogging and social sharing. Finally, a way that didn’t cost too much or wasn’t painful!

After learning so much about self publishing and book marketing, she set up Business Author Academy (blog) and its Book Creation Success Club. (Online self-publishing resources for HerBusiness members at 25% discount).

Jen continues to ‘deeply’ edit many books across the health and body, personal development, psychology, and money management genres. Line editing or developmental editing are the best ways to make an amateur book into a professional one. Proofreading a manuscript that’s suffering from language problems won’t fix the book or make it flow.

As a member, Jen hopes she can help members (through writer coaching or training) to write the book that will connect ‘what they know’ to their tribe with a heartfelt message. Remember, an ‘inch wide and a mile deep’ is what your book/course is aiming to do.
