About Me - My Biography

I am a couples therapist, therapist supervisor and facilitator. I have a belief that drives me, that is; our intimate relationships can make the difference between a thriving, connected life or a dismal existence.

That’s why I have spent years of academic training plus extra years honing my skills and perfecting my practices. Some of these years have been with the mentors and Gurus  in the USA  who taught me how to help couples build relationship skills through evidence-based scientific modalities and proven therapeutic methods.

I am  a certified Developmental Model Therapist, a Gottman Therapist and a therapist supervisor and trainer. I am trained in EFT ( Emotionally Focused Therapy) and in PACT and my style blends attachment theory, developmental science and neuropsychology. More than that, I am an empathic person who is passionate about enabling couples build better relationships.

In addition, I am an accredited Discernment Counsellor. This is a specialist service to  help couples on the brink of divorce through a structured process to make that important decision – to stay or divorce.

I have the academic training, practical experience and passion to help couples in trouble navigate relationship problems and build a better connection.

I offer  couples counselling, intensive programs and transformative workshops to help couples rebuild their love attachment and shift loneliness and conflict to connection and care.

My work is informed by many years in the corporate sector in mental health and wellbeing roles. I have worked on mental health strategy, interpersonal conflict, dysfunctional teams  and strengths coaching. All of this has enabled me to understand the needs of busy and corporate couples and the work demands  that may at times, be in conflict with a thriving love relationship.
