About Me - My Biography

Dianne was born and raised in Adelaide, Australia.  As a child, she fell in love with writing, drawing, and reading.

Dianne’s journeys took her from Australia to the United States over 25 years ago.  After exploring and living in many places, she felt most at home in Manhattan.  It holds a special place in her heart because that is where she met the love of her life.  They married, and have a son, Nathan, who plays an important role and is the inspiration for many of Dianne’s ideas within Little Tulip Books.

The inspiration to create these children stories has come from personal experiences in her life. The journey through Little Tulip Books will touch upon the understanding of belonging, fitting in, and the magic found in reading with your child.

Dianne is excited to share her stories and some sage advice through the eyes of Tulip.  She hopes that Little Tulip Books will help those who are reading it understand they are not alone and there is always someone who can help you on your journey.  Nothing can replace the magic of storytelling and reading to your child.
