Baked Relief is a movement started by Danielle  Crismani, aka Digella,  after severe flooding devastated parts of Queensland, Australia. Using Twitter and Facebook she enabled home cooks and bakers to feed more than 10,000 people during the flood clean up. #bakedrelief  trended on twitter for some time and reached #2 worldwide with #1 being #qldfloods.  That is just the beginning.

Baked Reflief received a huge amount of publicity and is still a recognised for it’s use of the digital landscape. Danielle now blogs as Digella from blogspot, and continues to develop an interest in digital media.
