About Me - My Biography

I have been an Executive Assistant with many year’s experience within State and Federal Governments and private sectors and spanning a variety of industries.

I have always been drawn to the “helping” industry and have a real and genuine passion for helping people.  After being made redundant several years ago, I decided to use the time to do some study and retrain as a counsellor.

In 2017, I established Lifestyle Counselling Services where my passion is to promote women’s mental health.

My Expertise

Lifestyle Counselling Services offers a full range of professional therapy services, with a particular interest in women’s mental health.

I specialise in:

  • Abuse and trauma counselling, particularly sexual abuse
  • Grief and loss counselling
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Relationship counselling

As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, I can understand and empathise how this trauma can affect a person’s everyday life but I also know that it is possible to move forward and create a happy and fulfilling life.

Whether it’s through Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), workplace counselling or private individual online consultations, I provide my clients with useful and proven strategies to help them feel empowered and in charge of their circumstances.

Sessions can be as few as one or two to help manage an isolated incident, or indefinite to overcome significant issues including sexual abuse, trauma, social anxiety, low self-esteem and a host of other areas that can hold someone back from living their best life.
