About Me - My Biography
At 24, Bahar Etminan was headhunted by FJ Benjamin — former leading importer and distributor of Luxury Brands — and joined the company as National Sale and Marketing Manager for Gucci Timepieces.
Within one year, Bahar was promoted to General Manager of BMI — a wholly-owned subsidiary of FJ Benjamin — where she reigned over the entire portfolio for the Luxury Timepieces Division: Gucci, Hugo Boss, Bell & Ross, Fendi, Swiss Army and Movado.
At 27, she became the youngest-ever Brand General Manager for Bobbi Brown and Origins. And at 28, she moved to Paris to source products for the launch of her own beauty distributor, Brandmakers.
Just after her 30th birthday, Bahar created Australia’s first e-commerce store for cosmetics, anchoring herself as an online media visionary.
In just a few short years, RESCU evolved from an e-commerce store into a pure publishing lifestyle empire — with over 45,000 subscribers and 18,000 social media followerr, and some of the hottest celebrity experts in the nation.
