Paleo Café is a revolutionary health food store and café franchise business, based on the Paleo philosophy. In just over 12 months, Paleo Café has grown from a single café in Cairns to a franchise business with 5 cafes across Australia and a further 5 opening soon. Marlies Hobbs, former Planning and Environment Lawyer, established the Paleo Café brand and concept after her son Troy was born with a severe dairy intolerance and she learnt about the serious effects of food on our bodies. Jai, her husband, introduced her to Paleo after he was encouraged to give it a try by his CrossFit coach. With benefits experienced by the entire family, she recognized a gap in market for convenient healthy meals and products. Jai recently sold his Finance Business to ensure the ongoing growth and success of the Paleo Café brand, and to allow Marlies to spend more quality time with Troy.
In this new interview, Marlies talks about building a brand based on health and passion.
