Tips for Productive Virtual Sessions
- Set up at least 10 mins ahead of time so that you’re ready to go on time
- Have a headset (for clarity of sound for you and your mentor), ideally with a microphone
- Check your sound settings before your session to ensure you’re ready to go as soon as you connect (ensuring your input and output settings are correct)
- Ensure you are in a quiet room where you can speak openly and without interruption. Do not attend a meeting from a mobile location such as a cafe or from your car
- Have a means by which to take notes
- Have access to your notes from the previous session, any questions you want to ask and an idea of what you want to get out of the session
