What Stage of Business Are You At?
Depending on your stage of business you may need a different zone to move you forward. Getting to the next Tipping Point in your business takes knowing where you are starting.
Are you at the IDEA, STUCK, DECLINE or MOMENTUM stage?
If you’re in the IDEA stage of business you’re still formulating your offers, getting to know your clients and getting started on creating a viable business model. So, Planning, Sales and Marketing, and Products growth zones might be the place to start.
If you’re in the STUCK stage of business then you may feel like you’re in a “rut” where you’ve reached a level of sales that you just can’t seem to break through. You feel like you’re on a treadmill, making just enough to keep things going, working hard, but not really getting ahead.
At this stage, take a look at whether you need to up-skill yourself in Sales and Marketing, or need to go back to your Planning and work on fine-tuning your business model and creating a more viable, profitable model. Or, perhaps you need to visit the You Growth Zone and really get clear on your vision and to support yourself with great people and mentors.
If you’re in DECLINE stage of business you could be feeling overwhelmed and unclear, and in a little chaos. Planning is a great idea here, reviewing your Products and analysing your money – looking at costs and expenses and profit margins. A mentor can also be really great a this stage to support you as you restructure things for your next growth phase.
And, if you’re in great MOMENTUM then you’re in great shape. Now it’s time to ensure your Systems are water-tight, your People are able to support your growth trajectory, your technology allows you to operate with speed and efficiency and cost effectiveness and that you are really taking care of You.
