In both HerBusiness and my events business, we’d done a lot of direct mail and “offline” marketing and in the mid 90s we were early adopters of things like websites and email marketing.
Again, I had to go and put myself in the learner’s seat, finding wonderful experts who helped me piece together our marketing strategy.
Even today, we are constantly learning about what’s working – because your market is always changing and you need to plan to change with it – failing to do that can leave you at the stuck point – or worse, still the decline point.
