Robert Kiyosaki is the bestselling author of Rich Dad Poor Dad and the popular Rich Dad series of books as well as the creator of CASHFLOW 101, CASHFLOW 202 and CASHFLOW for KIDS boardgames.

Since the release of Rich Dad Poor Dad in 1997, the book has become an international best-seller enjoying the No. 1 position on The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, New York Times and Business Week best-selling book charts. In addition, Rich Dad Poor Dad has been on the bestseller charts for years in Australia and New Zealand. Rich Dad Poor Dad and the follow up books in the Rich Dad series have also dominated the Asian and several European bestseller charts. Robert’s newest release Who Took My Money? entered the bestseller charts in Australia only weeks after its release in May 2004. The book tells you what your financial planner does not want you to know!

Having retired at age 47, today Robert does what he loves best – investing. Concerned about the growing gap between the “haves” and “have-nots”, Robert created the CASHFLOW 101 board game, which teaches the game of money, teaching wealth strategies here before only known by the rich.

Robert is a renowned educator and a powerful teacher. His live events are often sell-outs. Robert Kiyosaki’s message is clear: “Take responsibility for your finances or take orders all your life. You’re either a master of money or a slave to it” Robert has featured in numerous media publications as well as world-class television programs including The Oprah Show, CNN, CNBC and numerous Australian programs.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Robert is fourth-generation Japanese American. He comes from a prominent family of educators. His father was the head of education for the State of Hawaii. After high school, Robert was educated in New York and upon graduation: he joined the U. S. Marine Corps and went to Vietnam as an officer and a helicopter gunship pilot. Returning from the war, Robert’s business career began. In 1977, he founded a company that brought to the market the first nylon and Velcro “surfer” wallets, which grew into a multi-million dollar worldwide product. He and his products were featured in Runner’s World, Gentleman’s Quarterly, Success Magazine, Newsweek, and even Playboy.

Leaving the business world, he co-founded in 1985, an international education company that operated in seven countries, teaching business and investing to tens of thousands of graduates. His year-long television show was beamed across America on the Nostalgia Network, carrying his educational message.

Although Robert’s business is real estate and developing small cap companies, his true love and passion is teaching. He has shared the speaking stage with such greats as Og Mandino, Zig Ziglar, and Anthony Robbins.
