Hi there, I’m Raeleen

I’m the founder of mudputty an online community to help people to easily find and book classes in their local area.

I started mudputty after I noticed that the classes in my area — for my kids, my family and myself — were the hardest to find. I’d spent hours searching for a particular class , only to come up empty-handed. Later, I’d hear about an amazing activity through word-of-mouth and wonder why nobody knew about it.

What’s more, I saw fantastic teachers struggling to fill classes. They wanted to share their gift with others, but the business side of teaching was time-consuming and difficult.

That’s what sparked the idea for mudputty: a central place to connect a community of people who love to learn and live their passions.

What excites my the most about mudputty is the difference it can make in peoples lives. mudputty allows people to live the life they want and earn an income from their passions and talents.

mudputty started in 2018 and the site launched in July 2018.  mudputty is my second business. My first business was a cloud based SAAS Retail Management system. I developed the program and started the business in 2001. In 2007 an international company contact me and became 50% shareholders and then in 2017 the entire business was sold to a US company.

My Expertise

My expertise is in innovation, technology, startups, bootstrapping and building businesses organically and scaling business. I also have experience in local economic models, resilient local economies and sustainable enterprises.

 

 

My Passions

My passion’s are innovation, technology, helping people, community, sustainability and leadership.

My Interests

My interest is living life outside the box.

I’m a bit of an outdoor adventurer, exercise enthusiast and daily beach goer. My fitness is always with my young kids. My 5 year old breaks out into yoga posses during the day, which I love.

Other interest are organic and sustainable lifestyle, home schooling, natural parenting,  life long learning, raising amazing kids and camping,
