During most of the 90s Lynette held Chief Executive positions with one of Australia's largest and most respected companies: Lend Lease Corporation. In the late 90s Lynette was responsible for building a global business for Lend Lease in the Information Technology and Telecommunications arena by investing in companies that provided IT services to corporations.Lynette has also held positions on a state (NSW) Health Industry Council (Chair); the Australian Government Trade Policy Advisory Council and APEC; the ACTU-Lend Lease Foundation (Chair); and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's Diversity Council.Lynette is currently owner and Executive Chair of Work Wear World, a leading supplier of work apparel to some of Australia's largest corporations. The employees of Work Wear World have a significant beneficial interest in the business and participate fully in all aspects of the business, including preparing business plans, attending board meetings and sharing financial reports. The business has responded to their passion by growing at over 30% pa.Lynette is a Member of Chief Executive Women where she takes a lead role in its Talent Development Program which is designed to equip emerging women leaders with greater skills and networks to realise their potential. This program is at the heart of CEW's vision of women leaders enabling women leaders.She is also a member of Women Chiefs of Enterprise International and has a Prime Minister's Centenary Award for leadership in industry. Work Wear World supplies safety oriented bespoke working apparel to some of Australia's leading companies including Toll, DHL, DP World, Holcim, QAL etc. Employees have a beneficial interest in 25% of the business, are represented on the Board, and all contribute to improving and growing the business. Manufacturing is carried out in China by several carefully selected organisations. Particular emphasis is placed on quality control, compliance with Australian Safety Standards, and product enhancement. The company has a sophisticated technology platform that interfaces with customers programs like SAP, but which also allows individuals to order apparel over the internet.
