About Me - My Biography

Les McKeown is a serial founder/owner, sought-after advisor, bestselling author, and in-demand speaker.

Les is a native of Ireland. He first distinguished himself as that countryʼs youngest-ever accounting partner. After time at Price Waterhouse, Les became a serial entrepreneur – launching over 40 businesses from a Pizza Hut master license to a graphic design agency, from a tool and die manufacturing company to one of Irelandʼs leading contemporary art galleries.

He simultaneously co-founded a business incubation consultancy that grew to 13 offices worldwide.

One of his many achievements there was creating the European Unionʼs award-winning ʻEntrepreneurship Programʼ that launched literally hundreds of businesses that employed thousands of people. Les sold his share in that business then relocated to take over the firmʼs US operations.

Now based in Marblehead, MA, Les works with senior leaders every day to help them restore equilibrium to their companies, re-ignite confidence in their own management skills, and lead their teams forward into the next stage of growth. He also spends time writing, teaching, and speaking about organisational success.

Les has appeared on CNN, ABC, BBC, Inc, Entrepreneur magazine, USA Today and The New York Times. His clients span industries and include Harvard University, Pella, Chiron Corporation, T-Mobile, United Technologies, American Express, Canadian Defense Department and Verisign.

“Les McKeown has uncovered the core dynamics of organisational growth. And oh yeah, he nailed how to address some key opportunities in my own company.”
