About Me - My Biography

Hi there! I am a Melbourne based mum-prenure who ran a successful graphic design and print management agency in Sth Melbourne from 1994 for 11 years. After selling in 2005, I spent some time contracting in event management.

In 2010 I started developing The Gift Register to make gifting easy.  I love the idea of finding amazing eco and sustainable gifts from Australian based companies and making them accessible to others, I love the idea of being able to buy the perfect gift in 10 minutes, and I love the idea of reducing landfill and protecting the planet.

The Gift Register can be used via our website and I’m currently pitching for a government and VC money to regenerate and evolve the program.

Our service is used for:

In addition to that, I am running a Corporate gifting business for Real Estate agents which brands toolboxes and fills them Australian based home care items, to assist the recipient with settling into their new home.

The Thankyou Box is currently focusing on providing Home Care boxes, however also can produce the following themes: Celebration (chips n beer), Office care, BBQ, Car care, or First aid. These items go into a coloured toolbox of choice, and are can used by industries such as real estate, finance, construction, maintenance and automotive.

My Passions

I am passionate about reducing the waste in our environment. Effective gifting will reduce landfill. Eco and sustainable gifting will reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in our oceans and yes, in our water.

Humans are now consuming micro-plastics of up to 1 credit card per week. There is a huge need to become aware of what we are buying and giving.
