About Me - My Biography

Kim Ellis, Director of Earth Space Technology Pty Ltd is a qualified mining, resources and metals manufacturing research chemist and scientist and previously worked with the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, BHP-Billiton and RioTinto.  Additionally, Kim is a lawyer and a permanent Adjunct Faculty  member for the International Space University (ISU).  Appointed as a NASA Postdoctoral Program Reviewer by the Universities Space Research Association, Ms Ellis reviews projects which are designed to advance NASA’s missions in earth science, heliophysics, planetary science, astrophysics, space bioscience, aeronautics, engineering, human exploration and space operations, astrobiology, and science management.  Serving as an American Bar Association member, Kim was the first Australian to be invited to Speak at the Space Law Symposium in Washington DC, June 7th this year.

Earth Space Technology provides specialist consultancy, research and technical services for space, legal and technical businesses, educational institutions and government organisations internationally. She has recently developed Skyrocket Your Profile for Profit Business Edition  and Lawyer edition which is an online specialist business development training program on Creating Powerful Profiles that Sell.  Kim also designed a workshop intensive training session on securing 6 figures in Australian business funding like she did for her business.

An Australian Government Endeavour Executive Award fellow since 2012, , long term volunteer scientist with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Scientist in Schools program, keynote speaker for charitable organisations, Universities, Government Departments, schools, radio and television, Kim delivered a lecture for the University of Central Florida, Space Research Institute, this month for ‘The Technology and Future of In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU), A Capstone Graduate Seminar – Spring 2017’ series  supported by NASA Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (SSERVI).
