Former journalist and magazine editor Jen Bishop, founded Interiors Addict (a blog about interior design for everyday people) as a hobby in 2011. In 2013, she took the plunge and turned it into a business. It is now one of Australia’s leading design blogs.

Jen is the original Interiors Addict, an ordinary girl with no design qualifications, just a serious love of all things decor and homewares. What she lacks in official design know-how, she makes up for with genuine passion for her subject, the ability to write and bring to life other people’s stories, and an eye for a bargain. Jen believes everyone should get joy from their home, whatever their budget and whether they rent or own.

Prior to starting Interiors Addict, Jen was editor of Australian magazine Dynamic Business for five years. Before moving to Australia, Jen was a newspaper and magazine journalist in the UK for 8 years.

She is also mum to two young sons and currently renovating her Sydney home with husband Damian.
