About Me - My Biography

Janie Bartlett is the Owner of My Best Friend Is A Bag.

After more than 20 years in Advertising and Marketing working on a who’s who of Australian and International Brands, in 2014 I took everything I learned in marketing, plus the inspiration of an old orange laptop bag  and started with a small range of beautiful, practical bags for busy working women.

My Best Friend is a Bag is now sold in over 10 countries internationally – along the way we’ve had some big wins and made some big mistakes but we’ve continued to learn and thrive.

I am an avid reader. I always have a book on the go! I need to be continually learning new things so my interests change continually. Other people’s stories. Film
