Blogging was a medium that Darren Rowse stumbled upon by accident in 2002 as he was researching a new project – little did he know that just 18 months later he’d be one of the world’s first professional bloggers making a living from it.

Out of writing a popular personal blog that covered everything from politics, to religion, to cultural observations Darren launched Digital Photography Blog in 2003.

This quickly became a commercial success and the launching pad for many other blogs in the coming years.

These days Darren works mainly on four blogs – Problogger.net, Digital-Photography-School.com, FeelGooder.com and TwiTip.com.

He is also a co-founder of ‘Third Tribe Marketing’, ‘b5media blog network’ and the co-author of ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six Figure Income (Wiley).

Darren also consults world wide with bloggers and companies interested in the medium, speaks on the topic of blogging and new media and is regularly featured in articles and interviews in both online and off-line media.
