I am an accountant who helps overwhelmed startups and small businesses with turnover less than $5million to get on top of they paperwork and taxes by providing solutions at a fixed fee structure either onsite or remotely.

 

About Me - My Biography

I am an Accountant and Tax agent and a full member of both CPA Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants. I am also a certified internal quality auditor for ISO 9001 and hold a certificate in Leadership and Management program.

After starting my career as a graduate accountant with a multi-national publishing company, I moved into an in-house accounting role as a Finance Manager with a UK based subsidiary company.

After been a stay home mum for 5 years, I ventured into creating my own small accounting and tax practice to assist mainly small business owners through my own experience of running a small business.

I believe that an accountant should not be restricted to just attending routine paperwork but be involved with business owners in coaching them to improve they business practices. And this is why I chose to only work with small businesses to educate and guide small business owners in creating their wealth.

My motor in life is to think outside the square but inside the circle.

My Passions

My passion is to help small businesses in educating on how to read a Financial information in they business and how to best utilise the information to grow they business to a success stage.

I like to explain my clients financial information in a simple way without using any accounting jargons so that they can understand the numbers in they business with clarity.

My Interests

I have an interest in reading,  listening to music, dancing and yoga.

Because I run my own business, I understand the everyday challenges surrounding small businesses. Deriving from my own experience, I can help members understand better the financial numbers in they business and come with strategies to help grow they business.

Apart from that we can advice on the legal and tax requirements from the ATO before starting the business. We can help set up your business and handle all your compliance needs from A to Z so that you only have to concentrate on running your business.

Why I Became a HerBusiness Member

I became a member, firstly to contribute to the community my expertise and gain some valuable connection for my business by getting new clients. But the main reason I joined the network is to get some help moving from a sole operator to more of a CEO role of my business. I believe in supporting women in business and would like to hire women in this group to help me with the task that I am not really good at.

I am hoping to have a long term friendship and guidance through this group.
