My Connection Statement
We provide objective customer-based data to organisations to help them communicate more effectively with their target market. We start with a free consultation where we can learn how to design the research that helps them understand how their customers think and behave.
About Me - My Biography
I am a consumer researcher. I design and conduct surveys and qualitative interviews.
My agency Susan Bell Research has clients who are typically large corporates, small to medium not for profits (for example arts organisations and charities) and the government.
I am best at research on difficult and complex issues, or for clients whose markets are changing. Give me a tricky problem to solve!
I am also an experienced conference and webinar presenter.
- I am an experienced market and social researcher. I can design and analyse surveys; conduct focus groups and qualitative interviews.
- I am an experienced trainer in research methods, and an experienced conference and webinar presenter
- I have degrees in English, Linguistics and Psychology and am currently studying anthropology.
- I am a semiotician.
Work passions: People fascinate me. I really love interviewing people. I could do it all day – I am more of a listener than a talker.
I am an ideas person. I like to innovate and push myself to do things in new ways.
Personal interests: the gym, yoga and pilates.

Why I Became a HerBusiness Member
I am thinking of changing my business. I have created a research method called ‘Sensemaking Research’, which could take my agency is several different directions. Her Business offers structured resources that will help me develop a plan to determine the best direction to go in.
