Like many women, it is easy to fall into unhealthy eating patterns after a significant life event, such as childbirth or marriage. When Celina Tonkin’s second son was born, she felt out of control when it came to food choices. After years of resenting herself, Celina recognized that she had to drag herself out of such a vicious cycle. After becoming an NLP Trainer, Hypnotherapist, and expert Emotional Freedom Techniques Practitioner, she created a program to help others. This program, “The Missing Link,” was an extension of the program EFT and Food Cravings.
EFT and Food Cravings was a program that was designed by Celina’s friend and mentor, Dr Peta Stapleton, who is an Associate Professor at Bond University. Celina’s plan at Your Weight is Over is designed to help clients effortlessly regain confidence, feel empowered, and make healthy choices-and lose those kilos for good!
Here’s what Celina’s ideal business looks like
Celina’s ideal business would be an extension of her lifestyle. She would love to travel the world, especially Scandinavian countries, and give workshops.
Celina’s favourite entrepreneur
Oprah Winfrey’s ability to get into the world of other people with empowerment and entertainment inspires Celina.
What three pieces of advice do you wish you’d been given when you started?
- Using systems are critical for the growth of a business
- It is important not to take failures seriously, as they are merely a measure of your performance.
- If you don’t trust and back yourself, no one else will.
What advice would you give someone thinking about starting a business?
Planning and implementing systems at the start is a must! A specific direction will help relieve stress and feelings of overwhelm. Finally, make sure to write everything down, as your brain will not always remember it all.
